Océanis is a fictional floating society built by Bénéteau in reaction to the global warming crisis. It is not impossible to think that water levels will rise to a level where the world will have to come together and live differently. As a leader in boating, Bénéteau can offer humanity a viable future and a new beginning. Océanis is a way for Bénéteau to rebuild and reinvent itself for the betterment of society. Océanis is a fictional floating society connected and resistant to changes on the planet, a sort of utopia. Built from recycled materials, an engaged community lives in harmony with the environment.

It was a way for me to experiment with new technologies and try to create a story. The material below consists of videos made and animated with Midjourney AI & After Effects to construct a story about the way this society lives.

Overall, this project was my master's project for my studies in Art Direction at École Intuit Lab. You might have noticed that my documentary about sailing is also a part of this project, standing on its own due to its larger scale.
